Shell Vacations Club at Kohala Suites — Shell Vacations Club (Diamond Resorts / HGV Max legacy)
A Big Island resort within the Waikoloa Beach Resort master-planned community, now part of the HGV Max network.
Kohala Suites is located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort master-planned community on Hawai'i's Big Island (Kohala Coast), originally developed under the Shell Vacations Club brand before Diamond Resorts acquired Shell's timeshare operations in 2016 and Hilton Grand Vacations subsequently acquired Diamond in 2021.
Ownership today runs through the merged HGV Max points system; a 1-bedroom garden-view week requires about 5,000 points, roughly $1,580 per year in fees. The resort has no direct beach frontage but offers a shuttle to Anaehoomalu Bay and access to the community's golf courses.
